Peter Albertini, 62, of New Castle passed away the morning of Oct. 12, 2023, at Edison Manor.

Born on Dec. 31, 1960, in New Castle, Pete was the son of the late Peter and Elaine Kalata Albertini.

Pete was married to the former Nancy Nimmo. She preceded him in death on Feb. 11, 2023.

Pete had worked for JB Hunt, Select Industry, West Penn Metal and Nepco, where he met his loving wife.

Pete enjoyed working on and restoring old cars. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguin fan. He enjoyed being outside and mowing his grass.

Pete's greatest joy was the time he had spent with his wife and his two beloved dogs, Molly and Buffy.

Pete is survived by his brother, Greg Kalata of Richmond, Texas; his uncle, David Kalata (Linda) of Rockway, New Jersey; three nephews, Mike, Joe and Eric; three nieces, Ashlee, Caity and Erin; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. The Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.
