Ramona R. Semler Obituary
New Castle, PA - Ramona R. Semler, age 88, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, passed away the afternoon of April 2, 2026, at AHN Wexford Hospital.
Born Sept. 3, 1937, in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Lamison) McConahy.
She married William J. Semler, who preceded her in death.
Ramona worked at the Semler News Agency, a family-owned and operated business, for 31 years. In those 31 years, Ramona only missed one day of work.
Much like her dedicated work ethic, she ran her home with the same organization, pride and meticulous attention to detail.
Ramona enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her furry friend, "Fleury," the dog.
Survivors include her son, Robert "Bob" C. Semler and his significant other, Kelly Trautman, of New Castle, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ramona was preceded in death by her son, William J. Semler Jr.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be at Castleview Cemetery alongside her husband.
