Richard P. Borst
Richard P. "Dick" Borst, 78, of Chewton passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, following a brief illness.
Born on Nov. 27, 1941, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Gale and Cecelia Hasslinger Borst.
Dick retired in 2003 from Cemex, where he worked in the maintenance department.
He was a veteran of the Air Force.
He enjoyed antique cars, going to car shows and riding motorcycles.
He cherished time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Judy K. Shouse Borst; three daughters, Michelle Borst of New Castle, Trisha Borst-Martino of Ellwood City and Tiffany (Jim) Borst-Emery of Shenango Township; two sons, Douglas (Flor) Borst of Las Vegas and Jason (Nicole) Crawford of Ellwood City; and seven grandchildren, Marissa and Amy Martino, Carlee and Chloe Crawford, Cody Borst, and Ava and Mason Emery.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William R. Borst.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor James R. O'hara officiating. Military rites will be offered by the Veterans Honor Guard.
Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.

Greatly sadden by Dick's passing. He was a wonderful neighbor and along with Judy I felt safe in my neighborhood after Tom's passing. I will always remember the great comradery he brought to the neighborhood. God Bless you Judy and family
