Loxahatchee, Florida - Rick Coulter (Richard Allen), 67, of Loxahatchee, Florida, formerly of Pulaski Township, passed peacefully Jan. 17. 2026.

Born Nov. 4, 1958, in New Castle, Rick was the son of Clifford and Rosemary Mendt Coulter.

Rick was a 1977 Wilmington Area graduate and attended Slippery Rock University.

He worked as a carpenter and engineer.

He and his wife, Ana, recently celebrated 38 beautiful years together. Rick loved being a dad and coach to his children, JB, Matt and Emily as they were growing up and was a lifelong sportsman.

Rick especially loved being a Pappy to his grandchildren, Barrett, Rosemary, Blakely, Cillian and Ila, and anticipated the birth of his sixth grandchild, Tucker.

Rick bravely battled ALS since 2023 and courageously fought with his wife, Ana, by his side until the day he went to be with his Lord and Savior. Despite the health challenges he faced, Rick lived his life to the fullest and gave his all to his family. Rick will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, Pappy and friend.

Rick is survived by his wife, Ana; mother, Rosemary; children, JB Coulter (Chelsea), Matt Coulter and Emily Zamora (Zak), all of Florida; siblings, Mark Coulter (Esther), Pamela Coulter, and twin Robert Coulter (Karen), all of New Wilmington, and Susan Coulter Reed of North Beaver Township.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff; brother, Tim Coulter and his wife, Carol; and brother-in-law, Raymond Reed.

A celebration of life was held at the family's Florida home.
