Shenango Township, PA - Robert A. Dean, 74, of Shenango Township, passed away the evening of Aug. 2, 2026, at Northview Estates in Ellwood City.

Robert was born Jan. 17, 1952, in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, to the late George and Helen (Haydo) Dean.

He married his beloved wife, the former Jacquelyn Fazzolare, on Oct. 14, 1972. She survives at home.

Robert worked for many years as a machine shop foreman.

Robert was of the Christian faith.

He was a proud member of the Army Reserves.

Robert was very talented at woodworking. He also enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was hunting and fishing or meticulously caring for his yard and garden. Most of importantly, he loved spending time with family and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his son, Darrick Dean (Annette); daughter, Kristy Dean; brother, David Dean; and grandson, Logan Dean.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Dean.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 941 S. Mill St. The funeral service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Parkside Cemetery.
