New Castle, PA - Robert F. Dorr, age 66, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, passed away the evening of Oct. 20, 2025, at his residence.

Born Feb. 16, 1959, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Edwin and Deloris L. (Morris) Dorr.

On March 8, 1980, he married his beloved wife of 45 years, Terri (Scheerbaum) Dorr. Mrs. Dorr survives at home.

Mr. Dorr was employed with Royston Laboratories for 25 years. More recently, he worked as a contractor with GE Transportation.

Bob enjoyed riding his Harley and working and repairing mowers and small engines. What gave him the most joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, survivors include son, Stephen R. (Jennifer) Dorr of New Castle, Pennsylvania; daughter, Kylee (Mark) Swanson of Boardman, Ohio; two brothers, William E. Dorr and David E. Dorr, both of New Castle, Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren, Emma, Skyler, Evan and Ava Dorr and Carson and Mason Swanson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald Dorr.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Crum officiating.

Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
