Robert Gilbert Miller of Marr Road, Pulaski, Pa., died at his residence on Wednesday morning, Dec. 27, 2017. He was 92 years old.
Born in Mayport, Pa., on Dec. 10, 1925, to the late Amos and Venie Brocious Miller.
He married Mary Evelyn Blair on July 10, 1947. She preceded him in death on Sept. 3, 2016.
Mr. Miller retired from Youngstown Sheet and Tube and was a member of the New Bedford Presbyterian Church. He served his country in the U.S. Marines.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Saulpaugh of New Castle -and Brenda Miller, at home; two sons, Samuel (Karen) Miller of Pulaski and Daniel (Maggie) Miller of New Wilmington, Pa.; one sister, Jane Algoe of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Jennifer Saulpaugh, Katie (Scott) Gassner, Michael (Lauren) Miller, Amanda Miller and Matthew Miller; a daughter-in-law, Cassie Saulpaugh; and two great-grandsons Kyle Saulpaugh and Colten Miller
Preceded him in death were three brothers; four sisters; a son-in-law, Larry Saulpaugh; and grandson, Bryan Saulpaugh.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, from 4 until 7 p.m. at The Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, Pa. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with military honors.
Interment will follow at Herman Cemetery, Smithland, Pa.
