Verona, PA - Robert "Bob" A. Pica, 79, of Verona, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday Oct, 1, 2025.
Born May 22, 1946, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Bob was the son of the late Anthony Frank and Mary Margaret (Print) Pica.
Bob built a proud career as an ironworker, working more than 30 years across the country before finishing his career with LEAR International.
He also served his country honorably as a Navy veteran during the Vietnam War.
After returning home from deployment, he reunited with his fiancée, Joanne, whom he had first met while boating on Conneaut Lake. They were married a year later and shared 51 wonderful years together until Joanne's passing.
Throughout his life, Bob's love of the outdoors shaped his many hobbies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, archery, boating and so much more. In his younger years, he raced motocross, competed as a boxer and earned a black belt in karate. Above all, Bob found joy and freedom in riding his motorcycles.
While he accomplished much in his life, Bob's greatest pride was his family, especially his grandchildren, who lovingly knew him as "Grandpa."
He is survived by his children, Holly Pica of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, and Robert Pica Jr. and his wife, Richele, of Allentown, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Colton, Aiden and Ethan; his brothers, Richard L. Pica (deceased) and Timothy J. Pica of Port Orange, Florida; and his sister, Toni Ann Warren of New Castle, Pennsylvania; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at the Eintracht Campground in New Castle, Pennsylvania, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children, Holly and Robbie.
Services entrusted the Burket-Truby Funeral Home Cremation and Alternative Services, Inc., Oakmont.
