New Castle, PA - Robert E. Soupart, 72, of 1307 Delaware Ave., New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Oct. 31, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Robert was born May 9, 1953 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Paul and Helen (Eckelberger) Soupart.
He married the former Mary Lou Vincent. They have been married for 10 years. She survives at home.
Mr. Soupart was of the Roman Catholic faith and attended Holy Spirit Parish.
Robert was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1971.
Mr. Soupart worked at R.W. Cox Garage Doors, Inc., in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, sales department for the past 50 years.
Robert was a member of the Dukes Club on Croton Avenue, and the fraternal order of the Eagles 283 in Oil City, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Soupart also enjoyed going to his camp in Oil City. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Mary Lou, Robert is survived by his stepson, Stephen Smith of New Castle; one brother, Paul (Linda) Soupart of Dover, Ohio; and three sisters, Barbara (Robert) Cox, Carole Schlumburger and Lois Popovich, all of New Castle.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers-in-law, George Schlumburger and James Popovich.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St. New Castle, PA.
A blessing service will immediately follow visitation in the funeral home. Rev. Benjamin Barr, pastor of Holy Spirit Parish, will officiate. Burial will be in Castleview Cemetery.
