New Wilmington - Roger L. Mounts, 75, of Wynfield Lane, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, passed away at his residence Saturday, April 19, 2025.

He was born March 30, 1950, in New Castle to the late Robert and Lois McGaffic Mounts.

He married Carol Pearson on June 1, 1974. She resides at their residence. Roger was a graduate of Wilmington High School, and Lawrence County Vocational, class of 1969.

He was a member of Neshannock Presbyterian Church.

He retired as a sales representative for food service products.

While in high school, Roger played football and enjoyed sports, especially Pittsburgh sports teams. He enjoyed classic cars and going to shows.

Roger is survived by a daughter, Loni A. (Joseph) Reinhart of Pittsburgh; and his son, Dustin J. (Lauren) Mounts of Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Most important was spending time with his children and five grandchildren, Brianna and Alyssa Reinhart and Olivia, Luke and Emma Mounts.

Roger was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Don and Keith Mounts.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at The Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, PA. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025, with visitation a half-hour prior to the service.

The Rev. Dr. Howard Gaston will officiate, followed by interment at Neshannock Cemetery in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.

Memorials may be given to The Parkinson's Foundation or the American Arthritis Foundation.
