Ronald B. "Ronnie" Anderson, 55, of New Beaver Borough passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, December 29, 2016, at West Penn Hospital. Born March 20, 1961, in Punta Gorda, Fla., he was the son of the late Alan L. and Doris McConnell Anderson Sr. He was married for 35 years to Sue Ellen Grinnen Anderson, who survives.
Ronnie graduated from the Lawrence County Vo Tech in 1979. He worked for 34 years as a truck driver for Wampum Hardware. He also partnered with his wife in Home Exterior, a family craft business. Ronnie was a hard worker whose greatest pleasure in life was his family.
In addition to his wife, Sue Ellen, survivors include two sons, Justin Anderson and his wife, Hailey, and Jordan Anderson and his girlfriend, Amanda Demmler; his mother-in-law, Peg Grinnen, all of New Beaver Borough; four brothers, Alan L. Anderson Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., William (Alicia) Anderson of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Fred (Janice) Anderson and Robert (Tammy) Anderson, all of New Castle; and two grandchildren, Chloe and Blake. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 1, 2017, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main St., Wampum. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Ronnie's cousins, Rev. Eugene and Rev. Kevin McConnell, will officiate the services. Interment will follow in Newport Cemetery.
