New Castle, PA - Ronald C. Badger, 92, of Neshannock Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, June 10, 2026, in his home.

Mr. Badger was born June 29, 1933, in New Castle, a son of the late William C. and Gladys (Taylor) Badger.

He graduated from New Castle High School in 1952.

Ronald proudly served in the United States Army Signal Corps, alongside his twin brother, Donald.

For over 25 years, he worked as an installer for Bell Telephone, ultimately retiring in 1980.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, New Castle, the Telecom Pioneers, and American Legion Post 343.

In his spare time, Ronald found joy in watercolor painting, taking walks and fishing.

He married the former Marian McCurdy on July 24, 1959. Together, they shared over 66 years of marriage. She survives at home.

In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his daughter, Brenda Burns, son-in-law, Mark, and grandson, Thomas, of Atlanta, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald and Clinton (Jake) Badger; and three sisters, Jean Black, Maxine Davies and Leona Speer.

Calling hour will be 11 a.m. to noon Sunday (6/14/26) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

A funeral service will immediately follow at noon Sunday in the funeral home, with Rev. David A. Snyder officiating.

Interment will be ub Graceland Cemetery, Neshannock Township.
