Rose Marie Musolino, 87, of New Castle passed away the morning of Sept. 23, 2018, at Quality of Life Services of New Castle.
Born in Hillsville, Pa., on Sept. 8, 1931, Rose Marie was the daughter of the late James and Jennie Grani Micco.
On Sept. 25, 2018, her devoted husband of over 66 years, James "Fuzzy" Musolino, whom she married on June 21, 1952, passed away.
Rose Marie was a member of St. Vitus Church. She retired from Giant Eagle, where she had worked as the manager of the deli department. Prior to that, she had worked for Bordonaro Fruit and Produce Company.
Rose Marie loved to cook, bake and tend to her flower garden. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Frank Musolino and his wife Karen of New Castle, Rose Ann Natale and her husband Frank of Pittsburgh and James Musolino and his wife Vickie of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Gloria Masone of Cortland, Ohio, and Vincie Sasiadek of New Castle; two grandchildren, Danielle and Randl Sherman, and Jason and Naomi Arnold; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rose Marie is preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony Micco and Richard Micco.
Visitation is Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., officiated by Rev. Fr. Zachary Galiyas.
Burial will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
