New Wilmington - Russell DeWeese "Dee" Williams, 85, of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, Sept 17, 2025.

He was born Oct. 17, 1940, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to the late Russell and Helen DeWeese Williams.

"Dee," as he was known, was retired from AT&T as a Director of International Operations.

He graduated from Wilmington High School and served his country in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Nelson Williams; son, Robert (Ivana) Williams, and daughter, Leslie Ann (Chris) Casey, both of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; brother, Charles (Carolyn) Williams of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren, James, John, David and Sarah.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, until the service at 1 p.m. at The Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, PA. The Rev. Dr. Howard Gaston of Neshannock Church will officiate, and interment will follow at Neshannock Cemetery, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
