Sharpsville, Pennsylvania - Scott Lewis Skakalski Jr., 42, of Sharpsville, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly due to a fall at 8:48 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Scott was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania. on Oct. 2, 1976.

Scott was dedicated to his family and children. He was a member of the Chapel at Mercer and also a member of the Mercer County Coon Hunters Association.

He was an avid hunter. He coached Sharpsville Elementary Wrestling, Sharpsville Pee Wee Football and Sharpsville 8 and under softball.

Scott is survived by his wife, Tonia Kosek Skakalski, whom he married on July 4, 2009, and his two children, Scott Lewis Skakalski III and Sarah Grace Skakalski, all at the residence. He also leaves behind his mother, Naomi Fisher Bortner in Sharpsville; his father, Scott Lewis Skakalski Sr. in Winthrop, Maine; three brothers, Jeffrey (Ellen) Skakalski in Winthrop, Norman (Vanessa) Skakalski in Cornish, New Hampshire, and Robert Bortner in Sharpsville; as well as his maternal grandfather, Enos Fisher in Greenville, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Davis Fisher; paternal grandparents, Stan and Norma Skakalski; and one uncle, Jeremiah Fisher.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019, at The Chapel at Mercer, 300 S. Pitt St., Mercer, Pa. 16137 with Pastor David Robinson officiating.

Visitation will be at Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer, Pa. 16137 on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Burial will be at Mercer Citizens Cemetery, Mercer, Pa. 16137.
