Sherie Lynn Campbell Obituary
New Wilmington - Sherie Lynn Campbell (Doutt), 69, of New Wilmington, went to her eternal home with Jesus on Good Friday, April 3, 2026. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.
Born April 2, 1957, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Doutt and Mildred "Milly" Doutt, who survives.
She was married for 41 years to her husband, Scott Campbell, who also survives.
Sherie graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech, where she began developing her remarkable artistic talents with a focus in commercial art. She went on to work as an artist and later as a graphic designer, while also taking great pride in being a devoted homemaker.
In 1998, Sherie was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis. Despite this, she never allowed the disease to define her abilities or weaken her unwavering faith in God and His promise of healing. She was a relentlessly determined woman, and there was nothing she set her mind to that she could not accomplish. Despite her disabilities, she often referenced Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
In 2004, she earned her associate's degree in graphic design from Butler County Community College, graduating summa cum laude.
Sherie was a renowned creator and did everything in the spirit of excellence. A gifted artist, she loved painting, drawing and graphic design. Sherie was a gifted musician, blessed with the ability to sing, play keyboards and even write her own songs, some of which were recorded and played in worship services. Additionally, she enjoyed cooking, designing and sewing clothing for her family.
Sherie faithfully served for many years on the worship team at Victory Christian Center and was a steadfast Christian. Above all, Sherie was a strong woman of faith whose life reflected her deep love for Jesus and others.
In addition to her husband, Scott, she is survived by her children, Scottie (Natalie) Campbell of Austin, Texas, Jordan (Kayla) Campbell of Austin, Texas, Aaron (Candace) Campbell of Austin, Texas, and Sharayah (Daniel) Follett of Cranberry Township; her mother, Milly Doutt of Wampum; her brother, Richard Doutt of Wampum; and 10 beloved grandchildren, Kingston, Lyndon, Legend, Ronen, Evelyn, Adalyn, Saint, Reign, Austin and Eisley Campbell.
Sherie treasured her family and the legacy she leaves through her children, grandchildren and the many lives she touched and inspired with her story.
