New Castle, PA - Mrs. Sherry Lynne Beavers, 57, of New Castle, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on June 7, 2026, following a long battle with cancer.

Sherry was born Aug. 5, 1968, in New Castle, to the late David Anderson II and Judith Keith Anderson. Her mother survives at home.

Sherry was a 1986 graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech, where she was the first female to attend an all-male shop in Small Appliance Repair.

After graduation from Vo-Tech, she furthered her education and dedicated her life as a registered nurse.

She retired from nursing after 28 years and spent her time with her grandchildren, making crafts and attending craft shows.

In addition to her mother, Sherry is survived by her loving husband, Craig Beavers; son, Matthew (Celeste) Anderson; two daughters, Britany (Ken) Watterson and Chelsey Anderson; sister, Kelly Anderson; brother, Brian (Christine) Anderson; her cousin, Debra Marino, who was like a sister to her; six grandchildren; one a great-grandchild; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Sherry was preceded in death by a brother, David Anderson III.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
