Thomas Richard "Dick" Glenn, 84, of Volant, passed away at AHN -St. Vincent Hospital in Erie on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023.
He was born on April 27, 1939, in Lawrence County to Loyal Book Glenn and Valjean Lillian Beatty Glenn.
He married Gladys Irene Tobias on Sept 27, 1974, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 10, 2016.
He and his wife owned and operated a trucking business and together traveled over four million miles during their careers together. They retired in 2006.
Following retirement, he worked locally transporting auto parts and hauling for local businesses.
Surviving are his daughter, Kim E. (Jonathan) Prokop of Conneaut Lake; stepchildren Darrell (Sharon) Wolf of Squires, Missouri and Ronald (Sheryl) Mell, Sheri (Gary) Mell-Motter, and Russell (William Ohrum) Mell, all of Carlisle; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many beloved relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, an infant twin brother and a grandson.
