New Castle, PA - Thyra "Bonnie" Myers, 94, formerly of Ellwood City, was welcomed into her Heavenly Home and into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025.

Born in DuBois, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 21, 1931, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Quay and Georgia Conway Wolfe.

On July 15, 1949, Bonnie married her beloved husband, Howard "Pete" Myers. Pete preceded her in death on May 28, 1991.

Bonnie was a member of Castlewood Missionary Alliance Church. She enjoyed sewing, writing poetry, working in her flower beds, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and word games. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Bonnie's greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Bonnie is survived by her four children, Cheri Foreman (Mike Lon), Nancy Stinson (Denny), Norene Anderson and Darell "Bud" Myers (Judy); eight grandchildren, Gary Foreman (Jennifer), Bryce Foreman (Berea), Jared Foreman (Jessica), Drew Foreman (Cailin), Leslie Milcic (David), Travis Myers (Sam), Ryan Christy and Jodi Rafferty (Zack) and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Lois Miller; her brother, Keith Wolfe; her sister, Joy Hancox; grandson, Lee Myers and great-grandson, Tyler Reno.

Visitation will be on Thursday 1 to 3 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A funeral service will follow on Thursday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jim O'Hare. Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
