Timothy C. Aiken Obituary

Brookeville, Maryland, Maryland - Timothy C. Aiken of Brookeville, Maryland, passed away peacefully June 19, 2025.

Tim was born March 27, 1960, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to James E. and Martha (Cifra) Aiken, who preceded him in death.

He graduated from Union High School in 1978 and Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1986.

Tim was employed by Montgomery County, Maryland, Alcohol and Beverage Services for over nine years, and was truly well-loved by his colleagues.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved long-time partner, Valerie Johnson, and her children, Ashley, Kimberly and Craig and Valerie's two grandchildren; loving siblings, Jane (Stew) Snyder, Nancy Aiken, and Patrick (Donald Blouin) Aiken; two nephews, Daniel (Erica) Snyder and Travis Snyder; and three great-nephews and one great-niece. He was also looking forward to becoming a great-uncle to a daughter expected in August, born to Travis Snyder and Casey Battista.

Tim and Valerie loved the outdoors, and enjoyed traveling to many places throughout the world, most recently to the coast of Maine, one of their favorite places. He also enjoyed spending time with family and maintained close ties with all of his siblings. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

There will be a memorial service for Tim at 11 a.m. June 26 at Grace United Methodist Ministries, 135 Decker Drive, New Castle, PA. Donations in his memory may be made to Montgomery Parks Foundation, https://montgomeryparksfoundation.org/donate-to-parks/.
