Timothy Scott Croup, 45, of Harlansburg, New Castle, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, in Scott Township, Lawrence County as a result of an automobile collision.
He was born in Grove City on Aug. 30, 1975, to Dale Calvin Croup and Lois Irene Cooper Croup.
He was employed as an electrician in the family-owned electrical business called Croup Electric, located in Portersville.
Tim graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1993.
In earlier years he enjoyed golfing and always enjoyed baseball and watching sports on television.
Survivors include his mother, Lois of (Harlansburg) New Castle; brother, William D. (Deborah Jean) Croup of Butler; and two nephews, Jacob of Butler, and Joshua of Toledo, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his father.
The family will receive friends at the Portersville Bible Church, 156 E. Portersville Road, Portersville, from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held. Pastor Christopher Roberts of Portersville Bible Church and retired pastor Michael Charles will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home, Slippery Rock.
