Wayne C. Abel Obituary
Wayne C. Abel, 60, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., passed away on Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, in Holy Spirit Hospital. Born Feb. 4, 1945, in New Castle, he was a son of the late John and Mary Benedict Abel. Surviving are two sons, Gregory W. Abel of Mechanicsburg and Randy J. Abel of Harbin, China; a brother, Gary J. Abel of Williamsport, Pa.; and seven sisters, Joyce Marafka of Middletown, Pa., Marilyn Brice of Ellwood City, Susan Reynolds of Dillsburg, Pa., Denise Huff of New Castle, Carol Steinmetz of Elizabethtown, Pa., and Nancy Abel and Linda Mansfield, both of Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Way, Mechanicsburg, where there will be a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 4813 Jonestown Road, Suite 101, Harrisburg, Pa. 17109.
