Weldon R. Adams, 69, of 26 N. Jefferson St. died the afternoon of Sept. 11, 2007, in Kindred Hospital of Beaver Medical Center, Beaver Falls. Born Feb. 13, 1938, in Uniontown, Pa., he was a son of the late Clark and Blanche Adams. He married the former Gloria Keith on Sept. 21, 1984. She survives. Mr. Adams retired from REMACOR after 19 years of service. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Adams enjoyed listening to country music. Survivors include three daughters, and a son-in-law, Debra and Jerome Marino of New Castle, Cheryl Barhight of McSherrytown, Pa., and Diane Irizarry of Satsuma, Fla.; a son, James Lively of New Castle; four brothers, Charles Adams of Uniontown, and William Adams, Robert Adams and Ralph Adams, all of Masontown, Pa.; a sister, Sara Minnick of Ralph, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Adams; and a sister, Loretta Gardner. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A service will be conducted at noon tomorrow at the funeral home. The Rev. Douglas Hughes of Third Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
