William V.  Ferver
William V. Ferver, 94, of Orchard Road, New Wilmington, passed away at Jameson Care Center, New Castle, the afternoon of Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019.
He was born in New Castle on Dec. 27, 1924, to the late Harold H. and Grace Fix Ferver.
He married Eleanor Garrett on April 28, 1955, and she survives at the residence.
Bill graduated from New Castle High School in 1942, and served his country in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Ferver enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring a 1930 Ford and was a gunsmith.
He retired from Sharon Metal Products as a draftsman.
In addition to his wife, Eleanor, he is survived by three daughters, Susan Ferver of Moon Township, Chris (Raymond) Wagner of New Wilmington and Virginia Desouky of Morgantown, West Virginia; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Scott Ferver; and a brother, Charles Ferver.

Visitation will be on from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Rebecca Rosengarth of the New Wilmington United Methodist Church officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Wilmington United Methodist Church.
